Maireener Shell Pendant with Spinel and Diamond

The maireener shell ,also known as the rainbow kelp shell, is a small highly iridescent sea snail native to the shallow coastal waters of Tasmania and Southern Australia. It is culturally significant as the traditional material used by Aboriginal women to create distinctive, luminous shell necklaces.
